Welcome to Cafe Laguras, a charming cafe nestled in the picturesque surroundings of Kodaira, Tokyo. Located just a stone's throw from the serene Misonocho area, this hidden gem offers not only exceptional culinary delights but also a delightful escape from the bustling city life.

Cafe Laguras prides itself on serving an array of organic, locally-sourced dishes that will tantalize your taste buds. The ambiance here is a beautiful blend of rustic charm and nature, with terrace seating that allows you to soak in the serene views of a picturesque pond, a gentle stream, and beautifully landscaped groves. As you sip on your coffee or enjoy a slice of their famous homemade cakes, the surrounding flora adds a refreshing backdrop

As Mustapha Mokrane highlights, the cafe is perfectly positioned along the Tamako cycling road, making it an ideal pit stop for cyclists. On sunny days, the terrace seating beckons you to unwind and connect with nature. The warmth of the service enhances the experience, inviting you to relax and savor your meal at a leisurely pace.

One standout aspect of Cafe Laguras is their commitment to using organic ingredients, ensuring that every bite is not only delicious but also health-conscious. Their coffees are crafted from pesticide-free beans, enveloping your senses with rich aromas and smooth flavors. Diners rave about their seasonal cakes, particularly those featuring refreshing lemon zest, which strike a perfect balance between sweet and tangy.

Customer Chisa Murata adores the atmosphere, which she notes is especially delightful in spring when the vibrant rose gardens bloom, adding to the cafe’s charm.

For those rainy days, such as Sarah Hasselman's visit, Cafe Laguras still manages to bring comfort and joy. With the option to dine under a tent, you’ll find it an oasis of tranquility, paired perfectly with their delectable coffee and cake offerings.

The menu doesn’t stop at sweet treats; Hercules Wyvern praises their nasu and minced meat curry, a cozy dish that warms the heart after a day of cycling or exploring the nearby Hydrangea Garden. Coupled with the forest coffee, each meal feels like a soulful experience amidst breathtaking surroundings.

If you’re searching for a place that combines stunning natural beauty, delightful organic fare, and a cozy atmosphere, Cafe Laguras is your perfect destination. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this cafe promises a refreshing escape and an experience that nourishes both the palate and the spirit.

Hidden gem on the Tamako cycling road! Very good lunch made with organic food. The terrace seating is a must on a sunny day with a beautiful scenery: pond, stream, and beautiful grove. Service is warm and very friendly.

Love the atnosphere and their homemade cakes! Probably better to visit in spring when the rose garden will be pretty

We had coffee and cake at Cafe Laguras on a very rainy Sunday in June after visiting the Hydrangea Garden next to it. Despite the rain we were able to eat outside under a tent. We lined up before opening so we had a seat right away. It was a very peaceful spot. The food and coffee was delicious. The only downside was that for a coffee and slice of cake, it took quite a while, about 20 minutes.

A really lovely spot in a fantastic location! The outside space is lovely, even though it is too hot to use it at the moment. It had a very relaxing atmosphere, which I needed today. It is right next to the green path, and there is space to park a bike, which makes it a good destination for a bike trip. I ate the nasu and minced meet curry, which was delicious, and the forest coffee... also very good. I definitely plan to go back, even though it is on the more expensive side. I also took some blueberry tarts to go, which were excellent!

Pretty place hidden away in a grove. Ingredients are sourced locally, and you can really taste it. Occasionally has live music, and is always playing something tasteful (flamenco as I'm writing this). Recommend the pizza, and franks.
